The major language spoken
on Saipan is English, and practically everyone on the island can speak
it. Other than English the local language of Chamorro is also
spoken by about a quarter of the population. In addition, you
will also find many Asian languages spoken like Japanese, Chinese, and
Korean by the respective ethnic groups which account for some of
Saipan's population.
