Bird Island Saipan Bird Island & Bird Island Lookout
Called Maigo Fahang or "Island of Sleeping Seabirds", Bird Island is a stone rock formation just on the edge of the coral reef.  Visitors can enjoy the view of Bird Island by going to Bird Island Lookout which is located on a cliff on the main island of Saipan and overlooking the bay and Bird Island.

Suicide Cliff Saipan Suicide Cliff
An excellent attraction if your into beautiful scenic views, this cliff got its nickname because this is the spot during World War II where Japanese civilians and soldiers jumped to their deaths rather than surrender to United States military forces.

Banzai Cliff Saipan Banzai Cliff
Located on the northern part of Saipan, Banzai Cliff offers some great views of crashing waves and the Pacific Ocean.  The area is called Puntan Sabaneta to the locals which means "small grassland point" which is a description of the area and pretty evident when you visit the cliff.  The cliff got its nickname for the many Japanese that jumped off the cliff rather than surrender to U.S. soldiers during World War II.
