Saipan Activities |
 |
Diving
Although not as famous as Palau for its diving attractions, Saipan has
some wonderful dive spots for both beginning and advanced divers
including probably Saipan's most popular dive spot - The Grotto.
You can spend your whole vacation exploring various diving
locations across the island in some of the most clear and pristine
tropical waters. |
 |
Golf
If you enjoy golfing, the small island of Saipan has its fair share of
enjoyable golf courses including Coral Ocean Point Resort Club,
Kingfisher Golf Links, Lao Lao Bay Golf Resort, and a few others.
All the courses have spectacular views with many of them along the
ocean cliff line and coastline. Be sure to make your
reservations early so you can get your preferred tee time. |
 |
Parasailing
A popular activity among tourists, parasailing over the blue tropical
waters of Saipan can be an enjoyable and exciting experience on a
somewhat slow-paced island lifestyle. See Saipan's coastline
from different viewpoint! There are a number of activity and
tour companies on Saipan who offer parasailing if your up for some
adventure! |
 |
Fishing
What would a tropical island be without fishing!? Visitors can find
a number of charter tours for sports fishing or deep-sea fishing
trips to the best fishing spots around Saipan, or you can just go
trolling along the coastline if you have your own equipment and a
little knowledge of the area. If your on vacation in August
you might also want to check out the Annual Saipan International
Fishing Tournament. |
 |
Wind Surfing
Because of the shallow protected waters on the western coast, the lagoon
in Saipan has some of the best wind surfing conditions, especially
between December to March when the trade winds are perfect.
In fact, every year an international wind surfing competition is
held in Saipan, so if your an avid fan of wind surfing this might
be something you will want to check out. |
